Sail a boat on the beach. The first land yacht was built here around 1900. Created by the Dumont brothers it was the beginning of a fascinating sailing sport. Driven by the sea-breeze the sailing cars swoop at extraordinary speed on the wet sand along the water line. The European land yachting championship is held here.
